Flock of the Seraphim Leaderboards

What Steam lists, what the demo already reset, and what a quiet club does not mean.

Leaderboards

Steam lists leaderboards as a shipped feature on Flock of the Seraphim. The store API is the source. Demo patch notes already proved the board can be wiped: GuuchanDev reset it after a run-breaking bug and a pile of bullet fixes. 1.0 inherited that feature. This page is the score door. It will not invent a hidden MMR or a seasonal reset calendar the news feed has not printed. As of the first weekend after August 13, 2026, Steam’s official news hub for the app is still empty.

If you came here because a number looks wrong, check the overlay first, then the flock, then Club and Donation Boxes. A quiet hub is not proof that Endless failed to upload.

What we can say without guessing

  • Leaderboards exist as a Steam feature. You can open them from the Steam overlay and, in most horde games of this shape, from a hub wall.
  • The demo board was reset on purpose after a run-breaking bug. If you still have a demo screenshot of first place, that screenshot is history.
  • Endless is the long-clock mode. Survivor is the 20-minute Endless achievement. A long snek clip already showed a 38:53 run with late FPS dips. The playable essay is Endless Mode.
  • Club is both a Hazard 2 stage and a hub of boxes. Do not treat a club high-score tile as the only board. Read Maps and Hazards if you meant the stage.

We will not print a formula for how Steam ranks a run. Time, kills, Hazard Level, and map name are the obvious candidates. Until a patch note says which column wins a tie, play the run you wanted and let the overlay sort it.

Demo reset, 1.0 heat

The sword-era demo note said the leaderboard was reset because a bug broke runs, then listed bullet optimizations. That is the useful lesson: a board can be wiped when a score is no longer honest. If 1.0 posts a similar note, this page and Launch Hotfixes should quote it together. Until that note exists, do not assume your 1.0 time will survive the first balance pass.

Launch reviews already include a player who plat’d most of the set in a long evening and mentioned sitting near the top of a board. Treat that as a pace signal, not as a verified world record. Steam’s own overlay is the court.

How to post a score without bricking a keep

Finish the result screen. Force-closing there is how keeps vanish and how a “bricked” thread starts. Steam Cloud is listed; give it a minute. If the client dies on the way out, you have a crash, not a board problem. Use the crash fix.

If you care about rank, write the map name, the Hazard Level, and whether you were in Endless. “I have a high score” without a stage name is how club threads and board threads glue themselves together.

What a leaderboard is not

It is not a codes channel. It is not a Trello. It is not a second-nun arena. The game is single-player. Your ghost on a board is still a single-player ghost. Family Sharing can put two people on the same Steam family; it does not put two nuns in one arena.

It is also not a reason to skip Getting Started. A first ten-minute clear teaches more than a screenshot of someone else’s 40-minute Endless. Use starter builds before you chase a column you cannot name.

When GuuchanDev posts the first Steam news item, quote the board line here. Until then, the public story is: boards exist, the demo already reset once, Endless is the long clock, and a quiet club menu is a different fight. Play the flock. Let Steam keep the number.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does 1.0 have leaderboards?

Yes. Steam lists them as a shipped feature. The demo board was reset once after a run-breaking bug.

Did official news explain the 1.0 board?

Not in the first weekend. The Steam news hub for the app was still empty. Watch Launch Hotfixes when a post appears.

Is the club screen the leaderboard?

Not necessarily. Club is also a Hazard 2 stage and a box hub. Check the Steam overlay if you care about rank.

Will my score be wiped?

The demo already proved a reset can happen after a broken run. 1.0 has not posted a reset note yet.
