Flock of the Seraphim Builds Hub
Plans for a ten-minute clear and for the long clock after it.
A build in Flock of the Seraphim is a flock plus a shopping order. It is not a 12-piece set bonus the game forgot to print. This hub points at the three arguments players are already having: what to bring on night one, which weapon families deserve a keep, and which in-run items still work after the boss.
If you do not yet move cleanly, skip this hub and open Getting Started. A tier list will not steer the nun.
Night-one plans
Starter builds are two-range flocks that still reach the ten-minute boss without a perfect drop. They borrow the close-plus-line rule from the first-boss guide and refuse mono-stacks until you have a clear. Use the build planner to tick families before you launch.
Rankings with a date on them
The angel tier list ranks families for a standard clear versus Endless. Pistols, shotguns, bows, rifles, launchers, swords, and the scythe sit on that board because the store, achievements, notes, or reviews already named them. The item tier list is harsher about Thorny Heart, Radiating Glow, and Holy Injection, because launch reviews already called those thin later.
Both lists will move when a hotfix changes a family. They will not move because a screenshot looked cool.
How items and meta feed a build
In-run loot is the short clock. Meta currency is the long clock. Read In-run Loot and Meta Upgrades before you call a flock weak. A pistol plan with no reload node is not a pistol problem.
Passives are the other half. Passives and Stats explains Split Shot’s rear bullet and the printed five. If your “build” ignores the card text, it is a costume.
What this hub will not do
It will not publish a 40-angel DPS table. It will not pretend Luck is a carry stat. It will not copy a 38-minute clip as a beginner route. For long clocks, use Endless Mode. For the buy question, use the review. For the roster museum, use Angels Hub.
Pick one plan, play it twice, then change one family. That is a build habit. Refreshing this hub every death is a coping habit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is a build in this game?
A flock of weapon families plus the items and meta nodes that support their range. It is not a hidden set bonus.
Should I start with a tier list?
Start with starter builds. Use the tier lists after you have one boss clear and an Endless attempt.
Do these ranks assume 1.0?
Yes. They use the August 2026 launch plus demo notes that still apply.
