Flock of the Seraphim Item Tier List

What to keep on the ten-minute clock and what to drop after the boss.

Item Tier List

Launch reviews already did the first draft of this list. One player wrote that Thorny Heart, Radiating Glow, and Holy Injection feel thin in late Endless. Others said most items are dry stats. This page takes those names seriously and refuses to invent a 60-item manual the UI has not published.

For pickup hygiene, use In-run Loot. For the shop between runs, use Meta Upgrades.

S — still good when the clock is ugly

Fire rate and reload stones. Whatever the local name is, the effect is the one that keeps pistols, shotguns, and launchers honest. Endless clips die in empty magazines more often than in low damage. If a chest offers a choice between glow and reload after minute fifteen, take reload.

Pierce for line families. Bows and rifles stay employed when trash stands in front of the boss. Pierce is how a lane remains a lane. Shotguns like it but do not need it to have a job.

A — carry the first exam, then re-evaluate

Thorny Heart. Named in a launch review as strong enough to mention and weak enough to regret later. Take it on a first clear. It buys a graze while you learn spawn pockets. In Endless, swap it the moment a fire-rate or pierce option appears.

Holy Injection. Same review, same arc. Early sustain is a Map 1 tool. Late Endless wants you to kill the ring, not to out-heal it. Keep it if you are still learning the first boss. Drop it when you are chasing a 30-minute note.

Radiating Glow. The aura that feels like a build. It is also the aura the same review called thin later. A-tier as a comfort pick on night one. B-tier or lower when the wave is a donut and the aura tick no longer matters.

B — situational, not a personality

Luck rolls. If a card says Luck, it is a box and chest argument, not a stomp argument. Useful if you are hunting a missing family. Useless if you are already inside a spawn pocket. See the stat glossary and the club page.

Pure damage without cadence. A damage-only stone on an RPG is how people create a nap. A damage-only stone on a bow that already fires is fine. Read the family on Weapon Types before you call the stone bad.

How to use the list in a chest

Five seconds: which family is carrying, which printed stat do they drink, is the clock before or after the boss. That is the whole algorithm. If the UI shows a name this page does not have, apply the algorithm anyway and write the name down. We will add rows when the same name shows up in more than one public place.

Do not rebuild a flock around a B-tier aura. Rebuild around an empty range. The starter builds page is stricter about that than any glow. Endless is stricter still. If a late chest only offers the three named fillers, skip the chest and keep your feet. Greed is still the most common death, even when the item has a holy name.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Why are only a few items named?

Those names already appear in launch reviews. This wiki will not invent a full loot table.

Are Thorny Heart and Holy Injection bad?

They are strong early and reported as thin in late Endless. Take them for a first clear; replace them later.

What should I pick after the boss?

Fire rate, reload, and pierce for the families you kept. Drop comfort auras when the wave wraps you.

Do meta upgrades follow this list?

Meta is a different shop. Use the meta upgrades page for between-run spend. This list is for in-run chests.
